The Denver headquartered firm, which creates and licences precision digital elevation maps and remote sensing-based map products, decided not to raise any new cash.
It believes that the AIM quote will increase its profile and be helpful for its institutional shareholder base in Europe. Intermap enables customers to improve better decision-making and create applications for commercial, governmental, military, and consumer products through the purchase of high quality and affordable elevation datasets. It is remapping entire countries and building national databases, called NEXTMap, consisting of highly accurate digital topographic maps that include levation data.
New commercial applications for NEXTMap include geographical information systems, engineering planning, transportation, navigation, flood, environmental management and planning, and telecoms network planning. Internet applications include virtual tours, topographic maps and computer games.
